Samuel Vergès is a doctor of physiology and a former high-level biathlete. Responsible since 2014 of the Exercise-Hypoxia team of Unit 1042 INSERM (Laboratory HP2), Dr. Samuel Vergès is also scientific manager of EXPEDITION 5300: scientific and humanitarian expedition in the highest city in the world, La Rinconada, at an altitude of 5300m. Bruno Lina (Lyon, France), virology Professor

Presentation :

Pr Bruno Lina is a virologist at the CHU de Lyon. He is a member of the Covid-19 Scientific Council set up on March 10, enabling the French government to have the latest scientific information to help it make decisions. During the current crisis period, Bruno Lina was also very present in the dissemination of information on the DISCOVERY clinical trial coordinated by INSERM and managed from the Croix-Rousse hospital - HCL. Pr. Lina has been director of the Virpath team at the International Center for Infectious Disease Research (CIRI INSERM U111, CNRS 5308, ENS de Lyon) since 2011. He also heads the National Reference Center (CNR) for respiratory infection viruses (including influenza) and is a member of the Pandemic Plan group during the H1N1 pandemic in France in 2009. Since 2005 he has chaired the Scientific Council of the Expertise and Information Group on Influenza (GEIG).
